In 10 years of installation, I've seen dozens of setups where the “silent” duct made no difference — because it was poorly chosen or incorrectly installed. The Sono-Trap VDL, however, does the job, provided a few simple rules are followed.

  • Real attenuation — perforated aluminum inner layer + acoustic absorbing foam: up to -25 dB over a stretched length of 6 m, each tight bend costs you 3 to 5 dB
  • 8 diameters available — 102, 127, 152, 160, 203, 254, 315 and 406 mm; note, 127 mm ≠ 125 mm: plan for a suitable clamp or reducer for your RVK, TT or Prima Klima extractors
